Still Natural?

I have heard in my many Natural Hair travels that if you dye your hair you are not "natural" anymore because you have chemically altered your hair and it is no longer in its "natural" state. I guess there is some truth to that but I have a question... what about the texture? If your texture does not change from its natural state does that mean that you aren't natural anymore after a dye job?

When I decided to dye my own hair, I thought about that but... not for very long because as you can see I went along with dying it.

The good this is that my natural hair texture was not altered when I dyed it and I LOVE MY RED! :) I used to rinse it years ago but the it was never as vibrant as I wanted it. Now since I'm a big girl... lol I decided I wanted to dye it and get what I have always wanted! :)

  1. I love your color! I want to color a portion of my hair in the front as well. Did you part a "V" in the front of your hair to color? Or did you just pick a chunk of hair? I hope my questions make sense.

  2. Hey Honee! Thanks for the compliment! :)
Actually, I did a half hexagon shape in the front. I did my own color using Matrix brand of hair color. It worked out well because the front part is wider and as the color goes back, it gets slightly narrower. If that makes any sense... lol Let me know if you have any more questions and I will try my best to help you.
